A hairdresser visits Halberg House twice weekly, the mobile library calls twice a month and a chiropodist attends every six weeks. Church services are held in the communal lounge every two weeks. A local café will deliver midday meals to tenants.
All apartments are linked to a fire alarm which is tested regularly.
There are local shops on The Circle at Chequerfield. More shops in Pontefract town centre and a doctors' surgery are a short bus ride away from the stop outside Halberg House.

Residents can also tailor the support they receive to suit them, just speak to your Community Support Worker about what suits you and your lifestyle.
We know that your security is a priority, and that’s why entry to Halberg House is controlled through a secure fob system. We also operate security cameras around the scheme.
