The Repair and Maintenance team deliver Responsive Repairs , Minor Voids , and Enhanced voids across the Yorkshire region. The team provide an integrated service which delivers and efficient value for money service to our customers. Primarily team members are engaged in high volumes of shorter duration works , often alone or working in small teams.
What you’ll be doing
Primarily, you will be working alongside fellow tradespeople, using your painting and decorating skills to put the final touches on the repairs that have been carried out within our communities. Due to diverse workload within the Repairs team this could range from the odd ceiling right through to a full kitchen and bathroom and no day will be the same.
What we’re looking for
The Repair and maintenance team are looking for a qualified Painter and Decorator to join our established squad and work closely with their respective colleagues to get involved with a variety of work streams to benefit WDH and the communities. You will be an energetic, driven and committed individual who can take on a wide range of tasks within the industry and complete these to ensure works are completed safely within financial, operational and customer service performance targets.

Please note: that the core hours of the role are 37 hours, 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm (including some weekend working). A current, valid UK driving license is also an essential requirement of the role.
