We have an exciting opportunity to join our Homesearch Team, where you will be responsible for the delivery of our voids, allocations and tenancy ready services.
Lettings Officer – 18.5 hours, fixed term for 9 months
You will take a key role in delivery of our allocations, voids, and new tenancy services and oversee the process from initial Homesearch application through to the allocation of a new home to one of our members.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage Homesearch application registrations efficiently.
- Conduct pre-tenancy and selection processes.
- Assess and coordinate necessary property works for allocations.
- Allocate properties in line with our policies and procedures.
- Identify and invoice for rechargeable work.
- Lead accompanied viewings and facilitate the signing of new tenants.
Tenancy Ready Officer – 32 hours, permanent
You will be responsible for supporting Homesearch members and new tenants to ensure they can create a sustainable tenancy.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage Homesearch application registrations efficiently.
- Conduct pre-tenancy assessments.
- Provide support to members who have barriers to housing.
- Provide support to new tenants to ensure they can create a sustainable tenancy.
What we’re looking for
To join our Homesearch department, we’re looking for someone with:
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Experience in managing tenancy processes from start to finish.
These posts also require applicants to hold a current, valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel throughout Yorkshire and you may be required to work an evening and Saturday once trained.
