We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Assets team as an Assets Surveyor. You will be responsible for undertaking property surveys including damp, mould and condensation, developing our future capital investment programmes all to ensure the stock is kept in good condition and meets business needs of our customers now and in the future.
What you’ll be doing
In this role you will complete surveying tasks and provide technical guidance on building architecture, fabric and associated infrastructure.
You will also give specialist advice on defects, determining significant repairs, replacements and / or upgrades across the portfolio.
Additionally, you will also assist in developing strategies, plans, property intervention programmes and carrying out all building surveying related functions.
What we’re looking for
- a construction related qualification such as, HNC, CIOB or Diploma in Asset Management or Level 4 of the Framework for Higher Education Qualification;
- negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to influence change in others;
- experience of developing large scale property, reinvestment programme and building compliance programmes;
- experience of undertaking residential building surveys providing fault identification and specify diagnostic remedial works; and
- have the knowledge and ability to identify and report on insurance – fire / flood, damp, condensation, and mould.
