WDH is proud to announce that following a rigorous assessment, it has been awarded a Investors in People (IiP) Silver accreditation.
IiP is the UK’s leading people management accreditation and is a celebrated achievement. Silver accreditation recognises WDH’s commitment to excellent engagement with internal and external stakeholders and its success in achieving business growth through the development of strong culture and wider sector credibility.
Andy Wallhead, WDH Chief Executive said: “Silver is a fantastic achievement and something only 20% of organisations who take part achieve. Being officially recognised is a real credit to everyone working so hard to make WDH a great place to work.
“Our accreditation means that we have the right principles in place but more than that, it means our people and leadership team are actively making active efforts to build a strong and professional team.
Paul Devoy, Chief Executive Officer of Investors in People, added: “We’d like to congratulate WDH. Silver accreditation is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places WDH in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
WDH is one of the largest employers in the Wakefield district, employing more than 1,400 people. With a commitment to offering its people the best possible working environment and opportunities, the organisation has held the IiP status since 2010.
