Our Care Link phone lines will be upgraded this month as we add more resilience to our service while also preparing for a more digital future.
The work will take place on Tuesday 26th April at 10am and is planned to take five to 30 minutes. During this time, all our alarms and pendants will not connect through to Care Link. This is due to the work affecting our main line which all our alarms are programmed to dial.
These upgrades are essential for us to continue to provide the outstanding service to over 15,000 individuals across the district.
There are some things you can do to ensure you have the support you need during this time:
· You should have received a letter explaining the plans for the outage. Please show your family, friends, carers so they are aware too.
· If you have a landline or mobile phone keep it close by, if you need Care Link you can call us on 01977 788 000 and we will still be able to help you.
· If you are in need of emergency or urgent medical attention during this time please call 999, your GP or 111.
· Keep an eye on our website www.wdh.co.uk or social media sites Twitter @wdhcarelink and Facebook WDH Care Link as we will be updating when the services are back on line. If you don’t have access to the internet you could ask your family or friends to check for you.
If you have any questions or you need any further information please call us on 01977 788 000.
