Update on our Service Access Points

Undoubtedly COVID-19 continues to have impact on all our lives and the health and wellbeing of our customers and employees remains our priority. To keep everyone as safe as possible, we have adapted and scaled back some of our services, including our Hubs and Services Access Points (SAPs) remaining closed.
 
Both before and during the pandemic, we have seen more customers choosing to access our services in ways that better suit their needs, such as by the phone or online. In particular, we have seen a significant reduction in the number of customers visiting Airedale and South Elmsall SAPs for face-to-face services. 
 
In light of this trend, and after careful consideration, we are permanently closing both of these SAPs. With increasing call volumes and more customers using our online services, this decision means we can invest more heavily in our telephone systems and digital platforms, to meet the growing demand.
 
Our OneCALL team is still here to help and you can speak to them 24 hours a day, every day about WDH services by phoning 0345 8 507 507 or emailing, 
onecall@wdh.co.uk.  Customers can also access information through our website, wdh.co.uk and through our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter. All our contact details are on our website.
 
We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain hopeful that we can reopen Pontefract and Wakefield Hubs shortly, at the same time we expect the Government to allow non-essential retail outlets reopen. As soon as we are able to confirm any changes to our services, we will share the details on our website, 
wdh.co.uk and our social media channels.
