Residents in Airedale give us their views on the latest environmental works

Tenants and residents from Henson Grove in Airedale joined WDH’s Homebuilder Team for a focus group and refreshments to find out more about the environmental works that are currently being carried out on their estate and what they can expect when work begins on their properties.

This project at Henson Grove, aims to improve the local area, and will see WDH provide new drives and drop kerbs, paths and boundary fencing to all properties to help relieve parking issues in the area and provide a safer place for residents to live.

The focus group was held to give both WDH tenants but private homeowners information about the work taking place and its progress as well as inviting feedback and questions from those affected.

Residents were also entered into a raffle and won prizes donated by WDH and local suppliers.

Alan Poxon, WDH’s Senior Project Officer, said: “We hold focus groups with tenants and residents during environmental projects which work really well. They allow people to give their opinions and raise any concerns in an open forum so that we can resolve these quickly. The event this week was a big success and it was great to see so many tenants and residents show an interest in the works.”
