Residents in South Elmsall are over the moon with Farfield Court’s new look!

Published 15 October 2019

Residents at Farfield Court Independent Living Scheme in South Elmsall got a sneak peek at the scheme’s new look following an extensive refurbishment.

The scheme has undergone a transformation over the last twelve months, with improvements inside and out. These include a new scooter room, a salon and a spa room. Each of the resident’s homes have been completely refurbished with new kitchens, wet rooms, carpets and flooring. The renovations have also created three additional apartments available for rent through Homesearch.

Peter Wilson, a resident at Farfield Court, said: “It looks lovely, it is a big transformation. I am looking forward to moving back in and getting settled back in my new look flat.”

Maureen Turton, another resident said: “The lounge is my favourite part, after my flat of course. It is so bright and the furniture is lovely. I can’t believe how quickly it has been completed, I expected to be out eighteen months and it’s only being twelve!”

The residents will now begin moving back into their homes in the next few weeks and are looking forward to enjoying a Christmas Coffee Morning in their brand new lounge area.
