The first of two information sessions on HomeSwapper was held at Pontefract Service Access Point yesterday.
Tenants dropped in to ask questions about the scheme and how to find out how to register.
HomeSwapper provides a mutual exchange service for tenants looking to find their perfect home. You can make a local move or swap homes anywhere in the UK and it could happen in a matter of weeks.
The next session will be held at the WDH Hub on Saturday 28th February.
Phil Wilby, Business Planning Officer in Welfare Development said: ““It was great to see tenants at Pontefract SAP and to help them register on HomeSwapper to view the mutual exchange matches available to them, as well as improve the online property advert of those already registered to increase interest from other members. Overall it has been a great day and we look forward to helping many more tenants at Wakefield Hub on Saturday morning.”
