Four days to go in LWYLA voting

Four days to go in LWYLA voting

Published 23 September 2014

With just four days left before voting closes in the WDH Love Where You Live Awards 2014 we’ve already seen nearly 5,000 votes cast.

But we want to beat last year’s voting total of 6,368 votes, so if you haven’t chosen your community heroes yet, get voting now!

All the details of the three finalists in each of the categories below can be found on the dedicated website www.lovewhereyouliveawards.co.uk:

·         Best Neighbourhood.

·         Working with Older People – Group or Individual Award.

·         Working with Young People – Group or Individual Award.

·         Green Hero – Group or Individual Award.

·         Young Achiever.

·         Good Neighbour.

·         Community Group.

You can vote online or if you prefer you can use voting slips at WDH service access points – there have been about 30% more ‘paper’ votes cast than online already, but that may change as the clock ticks down.

The ‘Green Hero’ category has been particularly hotly contested via the website and the ‘Good Neighbour’ category is currently too close to call.

So with everything still to play for, make sure you have your say – vote today!
