WDH's Construction Team is celebrating a 98% tenant satisfaction score on their environmental scheme on the Monkhill estate in Pontefract.
The scheme, which is due to be completed in May 2021, will see 143 properties on the estate benefit from improvement works including the installation of new drainage systems, new tarmac driveways, full access paving around the properties, new fencing and turf in the gardens. Our in house trades operatives are working alongside JPW, an external contractor, to deliver over £2.5 million pounds worth of improvements to our current housing stock in Monkhill.
Dave Ainsworth, WDH's Construction Project Manager, said: “We began working on site in December 2019 and during this time, residents have seen their homes transformed with the installation of off street parking, new footpaths and boundary fencing. The estate has been given a new lease of life.
“By carrying out environmental improvement works on our estates, we not only improve the visual impact of our neighbourhoods for all residents, we also provide our tenants with a safe and clean environment to live and this helps to build stronger and more confident communities.”
