The ongoing pandemic has highlighted the amount of people suffering with their mental health and wellbeing more than ever. Our Wellbeing Team has continued to provide outstanding support for over 500 tenants, over the phone and face to face, during this time.
One customer, said: “I couldn’t have made it without your outstanding, weekly, support. The team are simply brilliant. If you need help just get in touch with them.”
As we come to the gloomiest part of the year, the team has launched a brand new social media campaign to promote their service to help reach even more people who may not be aware of the service but need some support.
Adele Sugden, Wellbeing Team Leader, said: “We know that the start of a new year can often be really difficult for people, especially now while we are still in the midst of the pandemic. We want to let you know that our team is here to help and that it isn’t just mental health issues we can help with. We work with other teams at WDH and health and care partners to provide a full support system for those who need it.”
