I would like to say sorry to all our customers who are currently waiting longer than usual for repairs to be carried out in their homes. There are two types of repairs that we undertake – emergency and general. Throughout the pandemic we have continued to deliver emergency repairs however at some points general repairs were on hold creating a pent up demand.

Today marks the beginning of Gas Safety Week, taking place between 13 and 19 September 2021. Gas Safety Week is an annual safety campaign to raise awareness of gas safety and the importance of taking care of gas appliances. It is coordinated by the Gas Safe Register, the official list of gas engineers who are legally allowed to work on gas.

WDH supports new anti-racism movement7 September 2021

WDH has pledged its support to Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership (WY&H HCP) and the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) new anti-racism movement. We have joined nearly 550 organisations and community allies, who have signed to support the Root Out Racism movement. It was co-created by over 100 WY&H HCP ethnic minority colleagues with the aims to proactively challenge racism across all aspects of society, to improve health inequalities, and to help individuals and organisations alike to become actively anti-racist.
