Major refurbishment starts at Stoneygarth independent living scheme

Work has started on a major refurbishment of WDH’s independent living scheme at Stoneygarth in Wakefield. The project, carried out by WDH’s own construction team and local contractors, will see the building being fully refurbished and the surrounding grounds fully landscaped with additional parking provided

Gender pay gap report 2020

WDH has published its gender pay gap report for 2020 which shows the difference in average earnings between men and women in its organisation. The fourth report to be published, demonstrates a slight narrowing in the mean gender pay gap to 13.3% compared to last year.

In line with the Government’s roadmap to ease lockdown restrictions, we are beginning the gradual restoration of our housing services, which we had previously scaled back, to keep our customers and employees safe. On Monday, 29 March 2021, we are reintroducing, in a safe and considered way, a full repair and maintenance service for our customers and at the same time will be gradually increasing more face to face interactions, including home visits.
