Apply now for a community grant

Published 7 August 2019

The WDH Community Grant Scheme is now open for local community groups and voluntary clubs to apply for up to £1,500.

The cash boost can help towards existing services, buying equipment or paying for an event. The aim is to increase community spirit and enhance the quality of life for local people.

Ella Dixon, Project Officer at Open Country, whose group received funding from WDH, told us what the grant meant to them: "This grant meant that we can buy tools and continue to help nature locally. The Wakefield Nature Force Group shows what people with disabilities can to do to improve their local community and we are very grateful to WDH for supporting us with our mission."

Applications are open from 5 August to 13 September 2019.

For further information visit Our Communities page, alternatively call 01977 788807 or email neighbourhoodpanels@wdh.co.uk.
