Directions from the M62 (Ferrybridge Services):
- At roundabout take the 5th exit, then merge onto the A1 (signposted The South, Wetherby, Pontefract, A1)
- Branch left, then turn right onto the A645
- Shell Pontefract
- Turn right onto Baxtergate
- Turn right onto Horsefair
Directions from Wakefield on the A638:
- Proceed along the A638 which becomes Doncaster Road. Enter Crofton
- Take left lane onto the A645 (signposted Pontefract)
- Continue forward onto Weeland Road (A645). Enter Sharlston Common
- Continue forward onto Wakefield Road (A645). Enter Featherstone
- Continue forward onto Marl Pit Hill (A645). The name of the road will change to Wakefield Road. Enter Pontefract
- At traffic signals the road will divide into Jubilee Way (A639) and Southgate (A645). Stay on the A645
- Turn left onto Baxtergate
- Turn right onto Horsefair
