Following our Annual General Meeting on 21 July 2011, we are proud to launch our Annual Report 2011.

It is packed full of useful information, interesting facts and figures and examples of where we have improved services to tenants. The content and design has been approved by tenants for tenants through our Tenant Editorial Panel who have awarded it the 'Tenant Approved' mark.

The WDH Annual Report shows how WDH has performed against the Tenant Services Authority's six national standards for social housing, which are:

  • Home.
  • Tenant involvement and empowerment.
  • Tenancy.
  • Neighbourhood and community.
  • Value for Money.
  • Governance and financial viability.

There is also information about how we are performing against our Customer Charter Standards in our Local Offer, which sets out the levels of services tenants can expect from WDH and was launched in April 2011.

Tenants will remember that copies were hand delivered to all properties in the summer by WDH employees as part of one of the largest consultation exercises ever undertaken to gather views about the Customer Charter Standards.

For the latest information on how we are performing check out our dedicated Performance Page on our website which is updated on a regular basis. This includes an 'at a glance' section which shows recent figures as well as looking at trends and targets. Please click on the link below to go the Performance Page.

Look out for a summary of the Annual Report, highlighting performance in our key areas from April 2010 to March 2011, along with some of our achievements which will be available in the September edition of our tenant newsletter, WDH News.

As always we would welcome your feedback. Please email your comments to communications@wdh.co.uk or write to The Communications Team, Merefield House, Whistler Drive, Castleford, WF10 5HX. If you require the document in an alternative format please let us know.
