Value For Money
83% of tenants have stated we offer value for money services, that's because, for every £1 invested we aim to increase it to £3 to the benefit of local people. WDH achieves this by balancing the best cost, delivering the highest quality product or service, whilst maximising the impact on the local economy. In 2010/2011 over £70m or 55% of all resources was invested in Wakefield business, while employing 87% of our people from the district to deliver our services.
We asked tenants what they considered to be their priorities for 2010/2011. These are summarised below, with what we have achieved.
