WDH has a
Vision to create confident communities
and confident people.
The Vision sets out WDH's intention to be a catalyst for change, not only in housing but also in health, education,
employment and the environment.
In delivering our Vision, our key values are to:
- Be creative;
- Be inclusive; and
- Work with integrity
We have already reached our first milestone to 2010 – 'creating neighbourhoods
where people want to live' - and now have our sights set on the future with clear and measurable milestones for:
- By 2015 - offer real choice and real opportunity
- By 2020 - a social enterprise with social impacts
- By 2025 - make real change through social outcomes
- And beyond!!!!!
The Vision outlines the pivotal role WDH plays within the district to improve the quality of people's lives
in terms of better health, education, employment, the economy and the environment.
Vision encapsulates everything that WDH stands for. It is our commitment to invest in people, properties and
neighbourhoods to create healthier, greener, safer, sustainable and confident communities.
Local Visions... WDH has a Local Vision for each of
our five management areas to support the aspiration of providing local solutions to local issues. The Local Management
Committees regularly review progress against these.
