Help with moving home

Wakefield and District Housing’s new Home Relocator Service helps tenants move into sheltered housing.

The service includes:

• Free disconnection and reconnection of cookers.
• Help with sorting out information on gas and electricity readings.
• Help and advice on disposing of unwanted furniture and who to contact before moving.

Packing and a full removal service can also be arranged, charged for depending on the work carried out by the removal company.
