Handyperson service
Help with basic repairs is available for elderly and more vulnerable tenants. This service supports the existing day-to-day repair and maintenance service. Ensuring minor repairs are carried out quickly helps tenants maintain their independence and keep their homes secure and comfortable.
At the moment, the service is available to tenants in sheltered accommodation and managed bungalows surrounding these. We will give priority to elderly people who do not have support, people with disabilities and tenants who have recently left hospital.

Here are examples of the types of work that are included in the service:

If you need minor repairs done as part of this service, contact your scheme manager. Work will be part of a programme at each unit so that you and your scheme manager know when the workman or handyperson will visit.
