How to pay your rent and service charges

There are various ways to pay your rent and service charges. Choose one that suits you.

Whichever method of payment you choose, remember that you are responsible for payments.

Keep you rent account up to date or pay by direct debit and you will be entered into our free prize draw at the beginning of every year.

OneCALL

Telephone Wakefield and District Housing's OneCALL service on 0845 8 507 507, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and make your payment using a Debit or Credit Card.

Calls to OneCALL may be recorded for training purposes.

 

Direct Debit

Telephone OneCALL on 0845 8 507 507 to set up a Direct Debit over the phone. Alternatively contact any Service Access Point for a Direct Debit Mandate or download one and return it to:

Remember, you will need to have a bank or building society account that accepts Direct Debits.

On-line with BillPay

If you have a Debit or Credit Card, you can pay on the BillPay website which is part of Alliance and Leicester.

If you wish to use the service you must follow the easy registration process, which is conducted entirely on-line.

BillPay is not connected to Wakefield and District Housing Ltd. If you choose to use the BillPay site to make a payment, you do so at your own risk.
 

Payzone

payzone logoUse your Swipe Card to make payments by cash or debit card at any PayZone outlet within the UK.

Payzone outlets include newsagents, convenience stores and petrol stations. Some have longer opening hours, including weekends

Post Office and Service Access Point

Use your Swipe Card to make payments by cash, cheque or debit card at any Post Office within the UK, or at most of Wakefield and District Housing's Service Access Points.

Please note that Airedale, Hemsworth and Castleford SAPs do not currently accept cash, though they do accept cheques. Cheque payments made at the Post Office need to be made payable to ‘Post Office Ltd’.

Cheque payments made at Wakefield and District Housing Service Access Points need to be made payable to ‘Wakefield and District Housing Limited’.

Please ensure that you write your tenancy reference number on the back of your cheque.

Service Access Points also accept Debit and Credit Cards.
 

Standing Order

A Standing Order can be arranged with your bank or building society to make a payment.

Standing Order forms can be obtained from any Service Access Point or download one.

Standing Orders should be made payable to:

You will need to quote your tenancy reference number.

By Deductions from Wages or Salary

If you are employed by Wakefield and District Housing Ltd., you can complete a salary deduction request form or contact your local Service Access Point. In the case of other employers please ask your manager if this facility is available and notify your local Service Access Point accordingly. If requested, we will assist with this process.
