Debt help and advice It is your responsibility to ensure your rent and service charges are paid on time. We will have to take action if you fall behind on your payments. This could eventually result in the loss of your home.
If you fall behind please contact your local Service Access Point or ring OneCALL on 0845 8 507 507.
If you are having trouble paying rent, WDH will give you as much help and support as we can.
This includes:
- Giving confidential help and advice
- Advising customers where they may be entitled to help with their rent and other welfare benefits
- Helping to complete Housing Benefit claim forms and ensuring that forms and supporting documents are passed to the Housing Benefits Section
- Making arrangements with you to clear the arrears
- Helping customers who have difficult debt situations by providing money management advice or referral to specialist debt advice agencies
