Decoration vouchers and discounts

After work has been done on your home, you are eligible for our decoration voucher scheme. As part of this scheme, you can receive Dulux vouchers to help you decorate the rooms affected by the works.

There are many benefits:

• You can pick your own paint, wallpaper and other items, and pay cheaper prices. The discounts mean that you can save up to £100 on what these would normally cost
• Home delivery is available – this can even be on the very next day, depending on when you order
• The products available are ‘trade standard’ – this means that they are generally harder-wearing than the usual shop-bought products
• You can receive free technical advice
• There are free 250ml paint tester pots if you need them
• You can use the ‘mouse painter’ design service on the Dulux Decorator Centre website, if you want to see how a certain colour or design might look
• HSS, the tool hire shop, is also offering a 10% discount to tenants

If your home is due to be improved you will be made aware of this service at the Choice Event and when the WDH Project Officer visits your property. Otherwise, information packs are available at comfort homes (the special relaxation areas you can visit while the work is being carried out on your home) or community centres.

What can you decorate in your home?

You can paint and paper the walls, paint the skirting boards, and paint the walls and ceilings.
