Training can enable you to gain the confidence, knowledge and skills to represent your communities more effectively.

We currently offer these packages to tenants:

• Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Active Learning for Residents.
• Level 2 Certificate in Community Action.
• Level 3 Certificate in Tenant Participation and Neighbourhood Renewal.
• Level 4 Award in Governance.
• A Comprehensive Training Plan for Tenant Board Members.
• A Comprehensive Training Plan for Tenant Local Management Committee members.

Wakefield and District Housing welcomes suggestions about training opportunities in tenant involvement.

These skills will raise awareness of community representation and help you to develop expertise to become actively involved in representing your community.
