Homesearch...
Homesearch is the new, simple way of letting a home, designed to give you more choice in where you want to live.
Intermediate Rents
Intermediate Rents forms part of the Governments Affordable Housing Programme. WDH have a small number of newly built properties
available to rent on a short term basis.
Buy a newly built home – or part-buy, part-rent... Occasionally
you can buy a new home outright from us, at an affordable price. Or you can buy a percentage of a new home and rent the rest from us, with
the option of gradually increasing your share.
Become a leaseholder... If you buy a flat or maisonette
via the Preserved right to Buy or Right to Acquire scheme, or a percentage of one under the New Build Homebuy scheme, you will automatically
become a leaseholder.
Supported Living... Visit these pages if you feel
that you need some additional support while keeping your independence, sheltered accommodation – with benefits like 24-hour emergency contact
and help with moving and repairs – is an option.
Garages... You can either rent a
garage from us or rent a plot of land to build a garage.
Land,
Allotments and Commercial Property... How to buy or rent land, or lease a shop. You can also read about what to do if you think someone is
fencing off WDH property without permission – and find out how to rent an allotment plot.
Transfer to
another home... If you are already a tenant, you can apply to transfer to a different property.
Exchange homes with someone else... You can exchange properties with another tenant if they
are willing to 'swap'.
