Wakefield District Community Safety Partnership

Wakefield and District Housing is a member of the Wakefield District Community Safety Partnership.

All the organisations in this partnership are working together to help reduce crime and the fear of crime, by making sure that people feel safer in places where they live, work, attend school and socialise.

Who is in the partnership?

The partnership involves WDH, Wakefield Council, West Yorkshire Police and many other organisations.

Tackling ‘repeat victimisation’

One of the main things the partnership tries to do is prevent residents from being the repeat victims of crime and serious anti-social behaviour.

In doing this, we will continue to develop improved security measures and other means of support to residents who are most vulnerable.

Through the work of our Tenancy Support Team, we can also offer professional witness support where this is felt necessary.
