Wolseley UK – WDH’s preferred construction and maintenance partner

From July 2007, Wolseley UK will become Wakefield and District Housing's preferred supplier of construction and maintenance services and materials.

Wolseley are the world’s largest distributor of plumbing and building materials, with UK sales alone nearly £3 billion. Wolseley UK has over 1800 stores nationwide and supplies over 600,000 properties nationally.

As our preferred partner, Wolseley will operate from two bespoke stores in Horbury and Featherstone, providing a streamlined service that will enable more money to be spent on housing and less on administration.

Wolseley will also help guide WDH on how to adhere to the latest guidelines on sustainability through a wide range of energy-efficient products and renewable technologies.

WDH Tenants will be eligible for a cash discount account at Wolseley. Just present your rent book/card when you purchase goods at any local Wolseley branch.
