Wakefield District Partnership
Often it is more effective for organisations to work together to address local issues rather than working alone.
WDH are part of Wakefield District Partnership, a body made up of various organisations, agencies and stakeholders who work together with the local community to improve quality of life in the area.
They identify the main challenges facing Wakefield District, and work side-by-side to address them.
The Partnership especially seeks to deal with problems in the most deprived areas, and has allocated over £18m since 2001 to meet those needs. Visit
