So far we held a 'Week of Action' on Airedale's Rivers Estate, and we have also launched the monthly Community Safety Café at The Airedale Centre.

The Cafe opened on 7 November 2007 and will be open on the first Wednesday of every month. Here local people can discuss community safety issues with representatives from WDH, the Police, the Fire Service and Wakefield Council.

WDH is also currently working with ENCAMS, (who run the 'Keep Britain Tidy' campaign), to carry out an extensive environmental quality survey within the pilot area. The information gathered will be used by WDH, working alongside other partners in the Neighbourhood Management Pilot, to improve the quality of local neighbourhoods.
