Fee Free Cash Machines

Many of us use cash machines, to access our money. They provide a convenient way of withdrawing cash, allowing you to take out your money as and when you need it. They also mean that you don’t need to travel into a town to get to the bank.

A number of cash machine providers have recognised the demand for these facilities, and many have appeared at places such as Post Offices, shops, petrol stations and even in pubs. However, convenient as they are, some banks charge customers from other banks to withdraw cash from their machines, with some charging a fee to everyone who uses them.

As part of WDH’s action to combat financial exclusion, we are working with one of our partners to provide cash withdrawal facilities for you to use without incurring a commission fee. These will be located in areas where there are no free facilities already.

The areas we have recommended are:

• Warwick
• Ferrybridge
• Pontefract
• Eastmoor
• Agbrigg
• Peacock
• Kinsley
• Ryhill South Kirkby

We will provide an update of when and where they are available as soon as these details are known.
