WDH supports children’s Halloween party

Published 4 November 2014

A play group in Hemsworth held its annual Halloween party with the support of WDH last week.

Jolly Tots parent and toddler group, which is run by Theresa Barber, hosted the event at the Hemsworth Community Centre - attracting over 40 children who enjoyed songs, dancing and a variety of games. Jane Gwilliam, a WDH Tenant Involvement Officer, attended the event to run a Halloween biscuit-making stall.

Jane said: “These types of events are great fun for all the family and good for everyone’s wellbeing. Our stall was a free, fun activity, and it was nice to be able to support a community event many of our tenants attended.”

Jolly Tots takes place in Hemsworth Community Centre, Bullenshaw Road, on Fridays from 1:30 – 2:30pm. It costs £1.50 per child with a second sibling costing just 50p.
