WDH has retained a sought after industry accreditation which recognises its continued commitment to resident involvement.
The landlord and homebuilder received its fourth consecutive Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) accreditation following a rigorous assessment that examined themes including how it involves tenants, and how they are empowered to influence decision making and scrutinise performance.
Areas identified by TPAS as good practice include critically reviewing resident involvement activities to ensure value for money and benchmarking satisfaction levels against organisations outside of the housing sector. WDH have achieved this by using data provided by TLF Research, a specialist in customer satisfaction measurement, to benchmark both inside and outside of the housing sector. Last year WDH was named as European Business of the Year after being awarded the European Excellence Award for demonstrating outstanding performance and a wide range of positive impacts on its tenants. WDH’s current tenant satisfaction level builds on these achievements and scores well above the average on the TLF Satisfaction Index™.
Juliet Craven, WDH Service Director – Corporate Services, said: “Resident involvement is fundamental to our ongoing success, and we’re delighted to be recognised for our efforts once again. Since our last assessment we’ve put in place all of the recommendations TPAS made, and these have contributed to us achieving our best ever assessment score.”
Jenny Osbourne, CEO of TPAS, said: “Yet again WDH have demonstrated that they truly embrace excellent tenant engagement to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents, the organisation and the wider communities in which they work. WDH is an organisation that highly values its tenants and their continued high standards in achieving this award show an organisation that constantly wants to do even more for their residents. Well done to everyone.”
