WDH has launched new low-cost local rate telephone number to make it cheaper to contact its customer service teams.
The previous 08 numbers will be replaced with 03 numbers. OneCALL will be 0345 8 507 507, and Homesearch will be 0344 9 02 02 02.
The change will see call costs from mobiles reduced from 40p per minute to just 7p, with calls from BT landlines charged at a local rate.
Steve Rawson, Managing Director of Operations, said: “We have listened to our customers’ concerns about calling the 0845 number, which was charged at local rate from landlines but was more expensive from mobiles. Introducing the new ‘03’ numbers provides a much cheaper way for our customers to contact us and provides them with even better value for money.”
"We are introducing voicemail messages on our 08 numbers advising tenants and customers to end the call and ring the alternative number."

*Chevin Housing tenants who book their gas servicing appointments with WDH will now have to call 0345 124 5345.
