A staggering 20,000 customers have been seen by our OneCALL advisors in the WDH Hub’s first year.
Employees at the Hub, on the Bullring in Wakefield city centre, have handled 20,548 enquiries since it opened back on February 15 last year.
On top of that, 6,148 customers have used the free computer access at the Hub to self-serve, with Homesearch and job vacancy sites the most frequently accessed pages, as well as general browsing.
There have also been dozens of workshops run from the Hub, including one-to-one help for tenants who want to get online, Switch and Save sessions and Cash Wise workshops.
As well as being open six days a week, the Hub is also open until 7pm on Thursday nights to allow those who cannot attend during the day to speak to an advisors in person.
Sue Hey, Customer Contact Manager at WDH said: “We are absolutely delighted with the feedback we’ve had from tenants during the first year we have been open. The Hub provides easy access to all WDH services, as well as the internet in general, and we’re looking forward to helping even more tenants in our second year too.”
The Hub is open from 9am until 4.30pm, Monday-Wednesday and Friday, from 9am until 7pm on Thursday, and 9am until noon on Saturday.
