WDH is offering its tenants free help and advice on how to use the internet as part of its Summer Road Show, which starts this week.
Employees will be on hand to teach tenants basic skills such as how to search the internet and set up an email address.
WDH tenants will also be able to register for ‘Your Account’, WDH’s online service where you can manage all aspects of your tenancy including paying your rent and reporting repairs.
Anne Challoner, WDH’s Corporate Engagement Manager, said: “More than half of WDH tenants do not have access to the internet, according to our research, yet it can help you save money and enjoy a better quality of life.
“Our team will be at events across the district offering help and advice to anyone who wants to learn how to use the internet and make the most of being online. If you know someone who would like help to use the internet, please encourage them to pay us a visit.
“We are also keen to encourage more tenants to sign up for our ‘Your Account’ service. All you need is an email address, your tenancy reference number and some basic details, and we can set you up within minutes.”
The WDH Summer Road Show starts at Saturday’s Eastmoor Summer Event.
Further dates will be available on the ‘News and Events’ section of www.wdh.co.uk or at www.facebook.com/wdhupdate.
