Cash Wise support service goes social

A Big Lottery funded project that provides intensive one to one support sessions and interactive workshops to help people make the most out of their money has taken to social media by launching a dedicated Facebook page.

Cash Wise, which is managed by WDH, can be accessed by social housing tenants of any age who need help and support to get their finances in order.

Pete Beaumont, WDH’s Financial Inclusion Manager, said: “Having a profile on Facebook is the next logical step in our efforts to support as many people as we can across the district. By liking our page you’ll get regular meal ideas, budgeting tips, job advice, as well the chance to hear from people who’ve been to our workshops. It is also a useful tool to form links with partner organisations who can also provide a service to our customers.”
