An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Care and Health Team for a highly motivated individual to manage our comprehensive Occupational Therapy, Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

In this role you will provide leadership and management to the Adaptations and Wellbeing Team including recruitment and retention, supervision, performance and development of the team.

You will ensure that customers receive appropriate Adaptations and Wellbeing interventions to support them to live in their own homes for longer.

You will also manage the Health and Medical rehousing process and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions with customers while identifying and implementing areas of service improvement.

Successful applicants will have:

  • a qualification at level 6 of the framework for higher education such as a first degree, award, certificate or diploma at level 6 or equivalent;
  • experience of effectively managing change;
  • leadership skills with the ability to plan, organise, motivate, communicate and negotiate;
  • previous experience of resource management both financial and human;
  • experience of working within a housing, health or social care setting;
  • experience of chairing and contributing to meetings;
  • previous experience of managing or supervising a multi-disciplinary team or service relevant to the applied post; and
  • previously managed a customer focused service.
